Hi, I'm Claudia

I am a Shiatsu practitioner, Reiki Master, multidimensional healer, artist and writer. Born in Lisbon, I live in London.

My practice is called Cloud Hands.

My work is gentle and deep, and it is trauma informed. I am inspired by Taoism, Zen, Eastern medicine, shamanism as well as quantum physics, somatic trauma work and energy healing. I specialise in highly sensitive people. My clients include people from all walks of life, but in particular, sensitives, creatives, healers and psychotherapists.

I started with Shiatsu 22 years ago. I have practiced and studied many healing arts since - including Jikiden Reiki, Quantum Touch, sound therapy with tuning forks, Biofield Tuning, Tibetan bowls, Shamanic and multidimensional healing, meditation, somatic trauma, eco-psychology, and energy medicine. My work is guided by intuition and informed by deep study and practice.

Having faced many life experiences and my own health challenges, trauma and profound loss, I know the healing journey from the inside. These experiences and a long practice of meditation, together with daily self-healing practices and profound mystic healings, have shaped a way of working that is gentle, deep, compassionate and transformative.

I hold a grounded, safe space for others to reconnect with their own essence, restore balance, and awaken inner wisdom, in a gentle respectful way. Each session is unique as I draw from my tool box, often using pressure points, energy healing and sound. I work both at a distance and in person.

Background

Before I dedicated my life to healing, I was an award-winning film director. I first discovered Shiatsu as a receiver while editing one of my feature films — an encounter that changed the course of my life and inspired me to study it deeply so I could share it with others.

Today I divide my practice between private sessions, and a busy walk-in clinic in central London, where I have treated thousands of clients. In the heart of the city, I offer short sessions, a unique form of deep relaxation on chair massage, based on Shiatsu — a way to slow down and reconnect, so needed in our fast paced world. This is one of the ways that I contribute to peace in the world, one person at the time.

Group Work & Teaching

When I began my Shiatsu practice in 2003, I developed a routine of practices for my own self care. At the time many of my clients were bioenergetic therapists and I was invited to facilitate a group session within a bioenergetic workshop. This became a weekly group session - 'Integrated therapies of relaxation'. I continued and matured my own self healing practices over the years and created online courses. I have also taught workshops on self-development through creativity, and film, both in Lisbon and in London — including at the V&A Museum and Space Studios.

I am now being called to work with groups in new ways, using energy healing, sound and self-care practices. I hope to create vibrational portals that restore balance, foster resilience, and awaken inner wisdom, individually, and as a community group field.

Living the Path

I am also an artist, writer, and Earth guardian. After living immersed in nature and undergoing a long deep soul journey, I returned to London after the pandemic. I live by a small forest and spend much of my spare time in nature and wild places, engaging in vision-quest-like processes, listening to trees, foraging, and creating herbal remedies.

I use Art as Medicine, painting Calligraphy and Soul paintings as meditation and exploring my connection with the natural world through mindful photography.

I am currently writing a book — Whispers of the Wild, weaving nature practices and plant spirit wisdom with healing stories while sharing my discoveries about menopause as transition to wisdom and how self-healing practices and Chinese Medicine based frameworks can offer new paths. I recently finished a spiritual novel — The secret life of things — inspired by my multidimensional healing practice and a miraculous self-healing process, a book that I wrote as part of the One year Hay House Writers’ Course. I hope to publish those books soon.

I always continue to study and deepen my practice in healing, and energy work, while weaving my spiritual practices, chi gong, meditation, self-healing, creativity and earth connection into my daily life.
